This funding supports a re-introduction and post-release monitoring program for pangolins recovered from illegal wildlife trade. Tikki Hywood Foundation (THF) has been tracking pangolins longer than any other organization in Africa, and with continued support from the Pangolin Crisis Fund can take the project to its next level. This program seeks to verify the effectiveness of the Tikki Hywood Foundation rehabilitation process through observing the adaptation of Ground pangolins back to a wild environment after the trauma and stress of being trafficked.
