With support from the Pangolin Crisis Fund, this project is aimed at identifying priority sites for the conservation of Indian pangolins across the Eastern Ghats of South India. The project plans to reduce threats to pangolins by addressing the underlying drivers of trade and promoting pro-conservation behaviors in fringe villages of pangolin habitat. In addition, the project will engage with local communities to introduce alternative livelihood improvement practices and provide skill development.
